Last night our two Flight Sergeants Jack Muir-Howie and Billy Thomas undertook an interview with the Deputy Wing Commander, Squadron Leader James Roberts for the rank of Cadet Warrant Officer.
The Cadet Warrant Officer rank is the pinnacle of what the cadets can achieve within the cadet rank structure. Those promoted to that rank show exemplary leadership skills and attain high standards in all aspects.
The rank itself is not something awarded by the Squadron. It is a Wing Appointment which has approval from Headquarters Air cadets at the RAF College Cranwell.
Both Billy and Jack excelled in their interviews. As a result Squadron Leader Roberts promoted both on final parade.
Congratulations to Cadet Warrant Officer Muir-Howie and Cadet Warrant Officer Thomas.
